Of the two female vocalists in Big Deal, I’m the one who sings the titillating songs like Minnie Ripperton’s “Loving You” and the Jennifer Lopez hits. Ako iyong pa-sexy, tipong all guts.
Have guys misinterpreted your act and tried to take you home?
That I’m easy to get seems to be the greatest misconception about me. Once in Malaysia, where we regularly perform, a fan pulled me from the stage, causing me to fall. Pinoys, too, can be very rowdy when they’re drunk. Some of them approach me after the gig or during breaks and touch me maliciously. Feeling nila kayang-kaya nila akong kunin, saying things like, “Mayaman ako, puwede ka ba?” I hate them.
