What was it like when you found out you'd won?
When I was in Viva recently, your associate publisher greeted me, "Hey, congrats!" I asked him why. Sabi niya, "Di mo pa ba alam na you're the Girlfriend of the Year winner?" Masayang masaya ako. Nagpapasalamat ako sa mga FHM readers na bumoto sa akin. I'm very, very honored.
How did you celebrate? Did you get drunk?
Actually, hindi pa ko nag-ce-celebrate. Siguro, when the news is formally announced this month in your April issue. Mag-iipon pa ako.
The last time we talked, you dropped your original name and introduced yourself as Nicola Jane. Now, you're Myles Hernandez again....
N'ung una kaming nag-presscon for the Viva Hot Babes, dun kami nag-decide na ibalik ako sa Myles Hernandez. Kasi ayaw din ni Boss Vic del Rosario yung tunog ng Nicola Jane. Masyadong pang-mestiza at pang-foreigner ang dating. Ang gusto sa akin ng mga taga-Viva, Pilipinang-Pilipina ang dating. Yung tipong galing province, simple at makamasa ang appeal, Parang Patricia Javier.
How thrilling has it been so far being part of the Viva Hot Babes?
So far, sobrang okay iyong packaging sa amin ng Viva. Tinatangkilik kami as a group and as individuals. I'm very happy. Who would have thought na ako, isang simpleng Caviteņa, ay magiging bahagi ng grupong ito? Dating Girlfried of the Month lang ako na pasulput-sulpot sa FHM events pero ngayon eto na. Marami na akong acdtivities at medyo nakaka-raket na rin ako. Kaya pag yumaman na ako, isasakay ko kayo lahat sa kotse ko! (laughs)
