You look awfully young. Do people often mistake you for a high school student?
They actually do, especially since I’m the petite type. But believe it or not, I’m already an incoming senior for my pre-med. The funny thing is, whenever I go to bars or clubs, I often get asked for an ID to prove my age. Ha ha!

And so we hear you just had your debut last November. How do you enjoy the legal age?
I get to do a lot of things that I was not allowed to do before. I have wider opportunities with regards to my acting career; I can now consider racier roles. And now I’m allowed to go to clubs and stay out for as long as I want.

Did your parents try to stop you from doing this shoot?
They did. On one hand, my mom was, like, “Go, go, go!” when you guys called me up. On the other, my dad was saying, “No, no, no!” I literally had to cry and beg him to let me go on with this shoot. I had to tell him how it has always been my dream to be here in FHM. I guess since he saw how eager I was to do the shoot, he finally gave me his blessing.
