You could’ve been a top contender in 2005’s Girls Next Door tilt, but you backed out the last minute. What happened?
I was still in college then. I changed schools and medyo strict yung school na nilipatan ko so I decided not to go on with the contest, otherwise maki-kick-out ako. Ha ha!

So did this long-overdue FHM spread ever become a motivation for you to finish school?
Let’s just say when I graduated it’s one of the first things that came to my mind. I really wanted to do FHM even before pa.

Unlike other models, you have a degree in marketing under your belt. Does this mean you’re not as pressed to climb up the modeling career ladder?
Well, I’m going to the States, probably by the time this comes out. My family’s there; in fact I’m an immigrant there already. Within those months I’ll be working. But I’ll be coming back here from time to time.

This is not hello and goodbye, then?
No, this is not my last FHM shoot. Hopefully… Ha ha!
