We hear you have quite a complicated lineage. Where do you trace your genes?
My parents are both half-Filipinos and half-Spanish-Mexican, which makes me a Filipino-Mexican-Spanish. They’re both based here while I stay with my brother in St. Louis, Missouri. We live near the University of St. Louis, Missouri, where I’m majoring in Psychology with a minor in Spanish and Anthropology.

And you know Tagalog and Bisaya?
Yeah, and Spanish, too, because I study it in school. I only went to the States for college. I’m going to live and work there in the future, but I’ll come back here every holidays. Our family actually migrated. Our visas are all legal. My mom comes back and forth because she works here. But I was brought up the Filipino way. I was already 18 when I left for the States.
