We hear you’re just here for a vacation…
Yes, it’s my parents’ 27th wedding anniversary. I was born in Australia but I come here on holidays every now and then. I hadn’t been back in eight years!

And this photo-shoot is some sort of a gift for them?
Ha ha! No, me coming is the gift! But they’re supportive of what I do.

Eight years is quite a long time to not visit the Philippines. Is there anything you don’t like about our country?
The heat! It’s a different heat to what’s in Australia. It’s more humid. In Australia, it’s windy. I’m used to that kind of heat. Here, I sweat all the time!

So would you rather stay Down Under than be here for good?
I was brought up in Australia so I’m more into Australian culture than Filipino. I want to eventually, like, come here and live here for a few months and see what’s it like. Because when I come here, I do like it. I’ve been looking at land in Batangas and I want to have condos in Manila. I want to eventually move here for a couple of months and live here.
