Did you always want to become a model?
Well, I started out doing pageants in the US. I was Binibining Pilipinas California in 2001. My parents wanted me to continue doing that. I was able to compete with other Filipinas around the world because of my California title. Eventually I would’ve qualified in the contest in the Philippines. But Bb. Pilipinas is strict with photos being too sexy and everything. I decided to go on a modeling career instead. It’s more long haul and fun.
