The rain didn’t seem to bother you. How was it back there?
May ulan, may wind effect pa nga eh, ibang iba yung eksena. Tapos may mga tao pang dumadaan, kumakaway at tumitigil… it was fun to do.

And you were very comfortable with that?
I’ve been modeling in car shows, so I guess that’s why I’m used to people looking at me wearing bikinis. Kaya okay lang talaga, I even waved hi to some of them, parang nasa car show lang uli ako. And masarap para sa akin yung feeling na pinagtitinginan eh! Ha ha!

You even ran across the street, still in your bikini and heels, and used the towel we gave you to protect your head from the rain instead of covering your body. It was a beautiful sight.
(Laughs) Eh mahirap magkasakit eh! At saka okay ‘yun, eksena sa kalsada. At least hindi ako magkakasakit.

Do you like making a scene?
Hindi naman. Believe me, there are still times na ayokong mapansin ako.

Have you always been self-assured?
Nasanay na lang din ako siguro. Before, I was a very shy person, especially during my high school days. I wouldn’t talk to you if you didn’t approach me first. I was branded as a snob because of it. Hindi na ako ganoon ngayon. I guess it’s because of my exposure na rin as a model, and most especially because of my course, Tourism. My course has really enhanced my confidence and self-esteem. Tinuturuan ka kasing masanay magsalita sa harap ng mga tao

Has modeling always been a dream?
Hilig ko siya ever since, pero ang pinaka-target ko talaga, maging artista. I auditioned for Pinoy Big Brother and Starstruck, but I wasn’t lucky enough to get in. I got into the first round of the most recent edition of Starstruck, pero hanggang dun lang. Kaya parang ayoko, mag-try next time kasi nakaka-disappoint naman eh.

Well, you’re still making a lot of people happy at car shows!
Yeah, and I have to say I really do enjoy car shows. I love it! I love na pinagtitinginan ka ng mga tao, and being the center of attention. Tapos magpapa-picture pa sila sayo, parang feeling mo ang ganda-ganda mo, kahit hindi naman! Ha ha! Para bang sikat ka na! Bunso kasi ako eh, eh di ba sabi nila ang mga bunso daw kulang sa pansin! Ha ha!

We heard that your boyfriend is in the States. How do you manage to hold up during long, cold, lonely nights?
Nakakalungkot din talaga. Every day naiisip ko kung ano ‘yung feeling ba kung magkasama kayo. Mahirap, pero kaya naman. Sometimes, nagwe-webcam kami, which makes it easier! Pero hindi kami nag-a-ano dun sa webcam ha! We just chat. We’re happy to see each other. Although sometimes napag-uusapan din namin yung mga naughty stuff, pero hanggang usap lang. Sa pag-uwi na niya yung the rest! Ha ha!
