Congratulations, you’re back!
Yes, and I’m a different Allona now. My music’s more into alternative rock na. Plus I now have a band. I do the vocals and rhythm guitars. Before kasi R&B or any material na ilalatag sa akin, okay na, go ako. But when I had my own band and started writing my own songs, that’s when I figured out what direction I wanted. Pag pinilit ako sa isang project na ayaw ko, parang, ang sakit, eh, ha ha.
Now that you’re a certified rock chick, do you regret having sung “Someone’s Always Saying Goodbye?”
No. That song made me Allona, eh. I even made a dance version of it. And now I’m thinking about making an alternative rock version. Lately kasi sa mga gigs, nire-request pa rin ng tao.
