Anything European in your roots?
I’m pure Filipino, both my mom and dad are. I can only guess that we’re of Spanish descent—my real last name is De Jesus and it’s, uhm, kind of Spanish, right?
With a distinct face like yours, it must be very hard trying to stay incognito.
It’s not really a big deal. I still go out malling and clubbing. Besides, people these days don’t go crazy over artistas they see. Well, at least in the malls that I go to, the people don’t go hysterical over showbiz personalities. But I can still go to Greenhills or Tutuban to shop. Of course it can’t be helped that some people come up to me to say hi or to chat but it’s just normal.
