First off, the burning question: Do you know where the P4-million luggage is?
(Laughs) People keep asking me that. Honestly, wala talaga kaming idea. We don’t even know the contents of the suitcase we’re holding. There’s a system we follow kasi with the cases. We draw lots before the start of every show. Kung ano nabunot naming number that’s what we’re going to carry.
Say you get to be a contestant this time. What number will you be banking on?
Hmmm… Siguro I’ll pick suitcase number seven. Don’t get me wrong, hindi iyan tip for the viewers or something. It’s just a personal favorite. Ever since kasi I find number seven a very lucky for me.
Has “7” helped you in any way?
Mas naging significant ang number seven sa akin during one taping. The contestant was a mom who just lost a nine-year-old kid. She chose suitcase number seven, which I was holding that time. For the first time, ako nagbaba ng suitcase to the contestant. Sabi niya I remind her of her kid daw kaya medyo I got attached to her talaga. She was the first millionaire of Deal or No Deal. Very deserving siya. Coincidentally, that episode happened on August 7.
