Have you always wanted to be an actress?
Yeah. When I was a kid, my mom had this big mirror in her room. Every time I was in there, I’d act in front of the mirror for hours. They really couldn’t get my face out of the room! (laughs) It kinda started like that. Then when I was older, I got into swimming because I wanted people to notice me. Tapos when I attained the popularity in school, parang I started to crave for more. That’s why when this opportunity came, I readily said yes.
Is there a dark side to Belinda Bright?
I don’t know if I have one. Siguro, sometimes I’m pintasera, although when I see something wrong, say, in a person’s wardrobe or physical features, I don’t verbally point it out. Sa isip ko na lang, tipong, “Ay, masyadong malaki iyong binti n’ya for her body.” Wala naman akong itch na ipagkalat iyon sa ibang tao. What else? Well, I’m only hot-tempered when I have PMS. Masayahin talaga akong tao. Siguro, gossip about me will foul up my mood.
