We know you’ve been doing the catwalk for a while, but exactly how long have you been around?
I started really young. I was only 14. Actually acting talaga gusto ko. I wanted to join Ang TV then but my mom wouldn’t allow me. But I really wanted to pursue my dreams so when I had the chance I sent my picture to this modeling agency and then doon na nag-start. Old picture pa nga yung pinadala ko, ginupit ko lang. My parents are more supportive now.
You must have had a good set of bones to be able to model at 14.
Yes, in high school I was already 5’6’’ and I would really tower over my classmates. There was a time I even felt conscious of my height. But because I was tall, I thought I could be a model, and I did.
