What’s your mix?
My mom’s English, my dad’s Chinese. I was born in the UK but we came to Malaysia when I was three so I really consider myself Asian. I studied in local schools. I speak the local Bahasa Malay language as well as a little Cantonese and Mandarin.
What do you do back in Malaysia?
I’m managing my brother. He’s a singer and a local celebrity in Malaysia and I’ve been managing his career for the last four years. I’m the oldest of six siblings so I’ve automatically taken on the mother role for my younger brothers and sisters. Other than that, I do some ads and commercials on the side. In my free time, I engage in sports. I’m very active. I swim two laps in an Olympic-sized pool every day—I love swimming. I also do kickboxing with my sister Pamela, who did the race with me. We also hike. We’re both very active and into fitness and health.
