You look amazing in a bikini. Did you enjoy shooting at the beach?
It was really fun! I grew up in Cebu and my family would often go to the beach and hang out, so I guess I’m a beach type of girl. The sound of the waves is very relaxing. I like to just sit down, read a book, swim for a bit, eat, listen to music, and look at the ocean.
What’s the wildest thing you’ve done at the beach?
I usually go to the beach with my family so I haven’t really done anything wild. But, let’s see… I kissed a guy in the ocean one time. That’s not really wild but I guess for me it is because I don’t really go to the beach with a group of friends. But I would love to swim naked at night. That would be a fun thing to do, right?
You won’t hear us complain! So we presume you’ve never had sex on the beach?
No. I think it would be sexy, but in reality it would be, like, “Oh my god, sand everywhere!” But, yes, the thought of it is sexy, I think. Maybe in the swimming pool because it’s clean, you know? In the ocean, you don’t know what creatures will sneak up on you.
We heard you’re a radio DJ now. How’s that working out for you?
It’s been about three months since I’ve been a DJ at Monster Radio and I’m really enjoying it! I really like being a DJ, I like talking a lot and interacting with the listeners. I’m also a student so I go to school in the morning and model from time to time, then at night I’m a DJ.
Are you getting even more attention now that you’re a radio personality as well?
Less, actually! I don’t know why some people say I look like a snob. But then again on the radio I’m a comedian. I talk and talk and I always make people laugh. I’m very approachable. If ever anyone wants to approach me, you’re welcome! Ha ha!
So, the question on everyone’s mind now is:† What’s the best way to approach you?
It depends. If someone wants to ask me for a drink, then they could just say, “Hi, I saw you and I wanted to talk. You want to grab a beer?” Straightforward. I don’t want them to go, “Oh, you’re so beautiful.” Don’t sugarcoat it and just go straight to the point.
Aside from being straightforward, what else should he be?
He has to be artistic. I like creative, open-minded, and outgoing guys who can make me laugh. I hate it when they’re mayabang. People who like to show off are usually insecure and not very confident with themselves. I don’t really look at the physical. I’m more on the personality. Most of the time, I don’t find guys attractive physically. Maybe if they have a nice smile, something very boy-next door, kind of like Jericho Rosales’s smile, it’s very warm and comforting.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I’m a very emo person. On the radio, I’m very happy and loud, very lively. But then I’m a very, very, very sensitive and sad person. I like being sad. I like emo and senti music. I enjoy being emotional and connecting with my emotions. I know a lot of people who block their emotions. It’s okay to cry, it’s okay to be sad at times. People should embrace being sad and not just embrace being happy.
How do you pick yourself up when you’re feeling sad?
I usually listen to more emo music. I’d have a glass of wine by myself and just listen, sip on my wine. Sosyal, ha ha!
Red or white?
Red, for sure!
