Good job going under our babe radar for a long time. Why come out only now?
So I just grab every opportunity, kung anong dumating.
We hear before this, you’d grabbed tons of other opportunities. So you’re not new to this, after all.
Okay, let’s do a quick rundown of the things you’ve done.
I joined a model search on a noontime show way back in 2009. That was my first. Then I joined Ms. Bikini Philippines, then Mutya ng Pilipinas in 2011. After which I tried Ms. Eco- Tourism for Mossimo. The last contest I joined was PBB, pero two months lang. And now, I’m back to school.
What are you taking up?
Mass Communications.
That’s our favorite among the courses we took up in college! Are you graduating soon?
Yes! I plan to work in media. But I’m not yet sure kasi ineenjoy ko pa kung ano yung meron ngayon sa modeling. Baka ma-stress lang ako, ha ha!
The schedule must be crazy now. How do you balance your time?
Actually, maluwag naman yung time ko ngayon. Ang classes ko kasi two days lang in a week. Nakakapagenjoy naman ako.
How do you kill time?
Homebody kasi ako eh. Pero hindi ako yung wala lang gagawin. Gusto ko parati akong may kasama. Minsan, lumalabas din ako pag may importanteng lakad or kapag nayaya ng friends ko to do sports. We run and do Muay Thai.
Do you drink?
I do, pero I don’t smoke. I drink occasionally—well, occasionally, so every week?
You only spent two months inside Bahay ni Kuya. Was the experience fun or traumatic?
It was fun. Halu-halo yung emotions eh. Nung nandun ako, it was challenging in a way na dapat ma-control mo yung napi-feel mo kasi even the smallest things, big deal na yun para sa iba.
It’s not very sunny now. Do you prefer this kind of weather?
Yes, I like it.
It certainly worked for you.
Oo, naka-heels pa nga ako eh. Wala na akong pakialam kahit mabasa. Ha ha! Mamaya may pulmonia na ako. Ha ha!
What’s next after this shoot?
Balik lang sa dati kong ginagawa. And then school.
Wait—you didn’t skip school for this shoot did you?
[whispers] Suspended… suspended yung classes. So, sakto, ha ha! So nag-cooperate din yung… School? Wow, school, eh. Ha ha!
Yes, and the weather. How are you like in school? Will we recognize you as that girl who did a racy dance number on PBB? Or are you the campus nerd?
Tahimik nga lang ako sa school. Pa-sweet lang. Yung typical na schoolgirl na puro books yung dala.
We can clearly visualize that. Thank you for reminding us to get a Master’s Degree soon.
Ha ha! Go for it!
