You’ve appeared in numerous shampoo ads. Do people ever come up to you to show off their hair?
Not really, but I must admit shampoo commercials are my forte. I have done a lot of them. There’s not much acting involved. All you have to do is look good and smile. But don’t get me wrong: This gig requires acting skills and a bit of luck. It’s when you least expect it that blessings come your way.
Which blessing was the most memorable?
I did an ad for Sony flat screen TV and it required more than just smiling and looking nice. We wanted to portray that the TV is as real as real life. The TV was like a window and I was looking for the remote control. Then you would see a snake and it looked like it was following my butt. It looked like a real snake, but when I found the remote, you’d realize that it was just actually TV.
