We’ve likewise put our money of other unknown cover girls, but hardly any of them made it like you. What do you think did you have that today’s upstarts don’t?
I think lahat naman kasi sa entertainment business, luck lang talaga. It was just the right time siguro. I was just lucky enough na ako yung nauna—since wala pa kayong cover dati na unknown. Kahit saan naman pag sinabi mong FHM covergirl ka, always “Wow” ang reaction.

Do you still recall your first brush with fame?
Of course! Just months after my first FHM cover, I went to the States. I went to this store in New York to buy a cellphone. Yung American owner ng shop sabi niya, “You know you look familiar. I think I saw you somewhere.” So nilabas niya lahat ng magazines niya, pinakita niya yung FHM. Sabi ko, “Yes, that’s me.” Sa sobrang tuwa niya, binigay na niya yung cellphone, hindi na niya pinabayaran!

Very heartwarming. So fast-forward to now: How are you doing?
I’m still doing the same things I’ve been doing before. Actually mas naging busy nga ako ngayon eh in terms of everything. But nothing’s changed, I’m still the one-named Sheree, ha ha.
