Yes, I’ve gone solo since 2005. I’ve had an album out. Hopefully this year makapag-release ulit ako ng bago. I’m still looking for a label na puwedeng mag-distribute.
And you’ve also proven your worth as an actress. Are we seeing more of you this year?
I finished a soap opera last year, Codename: Asero. I have a show this month, a Valentine concert, and soon a tour in the US. I’m also finishing a movie, an entry for a film festival. It’s an adaptation of a documentary. It’s about life in Tondo. Ang role ko is a drug-addict na prostitute na nagpapahirap sa kapatid ko. Lagi namang bad girl yung role ko, eh, pero ito na siguro yung pinamatindi, na talagang nambubugbog ako—mga ganun. Very challenging for me.
