Parts of Chiaki Morita's name sure reminds us of the late great Pat Morita, famously known as Mr. Miyagi in the Karate Kid movies. Obviously, the two aren’t related. We mean, there’s no way, no? It couldn’t be. It shouldn’t be. Man, could it be?

If that is indeed the case, then Chiaki would have been the pinnacle of sexy and awesomeness, and landing her on our pages this month would have been the pinnacle of our magazine’s existence. Those mesmerizing eyes, artful female figure, and raw sex appeal – we never knew the Morita clan has such good genes.

Truth is Pat Morita and Chiaki Morita aren’t actually correlated, but our Online Babe for the month of August has more than enough flair and finesse to live up to the awesomeness we have primarily bestowed upon her name – a tokusatsu toy collector, a swimmer, a football player, and an Aikido and Tae Kwon Do practitioner.

See, this babe’s even better than Pat Morita. Heck, she’s even better than the Karate Kid.

First of all, what does a tokusatsu collector do?
It’s because I was born in Kanagawa, Japan, and a lot of tourists visit the town I grew up in kasi andun talaga yung mga mascots – mga costumes na ginagamit ng mga Japanese shows.

So na-idolize ko sila and then I started collecting them. Instead of Barbie yung nilalaro ko, mas nagustuhan ko yung mga action figures – Ultraman and Kamen Rider.

And you’re an anime lover too, yes?
Super fan girl ako! Nung grade school ako pinapanuod ko yung Ultraman, Ghost Fighter, Dragonball, Sailormoon. Pagdating ko dito, nagkaroon na ng Flame of Recca. So I would watch these shows after school.

Think your toy collections could sell a fortune?
My tokusatsu collections are probably not less than 800. Isang figure lang, like a vinyl, ang cheapest is P100, and highest is P500 kapag latest edition. Ang mga action figures mabibili mo siya ng mga P2,000. May mga key chains and stuff toys din ako! Puro ganun talaga yung nasa loob ng house namin.

Ever thought of starting a business out of it?
Naiisip ko na din siya kasi the more na dumadami yung mga nami-meet kong toy collectors, the more na maraming nakikipag-trade kasi kapag wala sila ng items na meron ako, talagang pinipilit nilang bilhin sa akin. Bibilhin nila kahit magkano pa ang i-offer mo kasi they’re not satisfied hangga’t hindi nila nakukumpleto yung collections nila. So naisip ko na parang maganda siyang i-market.

Does a guy have to be tokusatsu fan as well to catch your fancy?
Not really, pero advantage niya yun para makapag-establish siya ng conversation sa akin. Kasi magiging initiative niya yun para ma-approach niya ako agad, at lahat ng sasabihin ko familiar siya. Otherwise kapag kinwentuhan mo ang guy pero hindi niya alam, wala din namang mangyayari.

So what are your ideal dating requirements?
Gusto ko kasi sports-minded yung guy, not only because sports-minded din ako, but also maganda kung meron siyang discipline about how to take care of himself. Kasi kapag pabaya ka magkakaroon ka ng tendency to fail to maintain your health and appearance. Gusto ko din ng optimistic kasi all success can be achieved by your own beliefs, through your actions.

We can only imagine how you are as a girlfriend.
Sa akin, once na sinabi kong gusto ko siya, talagang papanindigan ko sa lahat na mag-stay ako sa kanya. Sa culture kasi natin, the more conservative you are, the more you gain respect. Pero it doesn’t mean na kapag liberated ka, you get less respect. Kapag boyfriend ko, kaya kong panindigan dahil gusto kong siya pa din ang makita ng tao in the long run.
