CJ was into modeling before she became an actress. She started modeling when she was only 14. "I started really young. I was only 14. Actually acting talaga gusto ko. I wanted to join Ang TV then but my mom wouldn’t allow me. But I really wanted to pursue my dreams so when I had the chance I sent my picture to this modeling agency and then doon na nag-start. "
