Even if we are accustomed to having fuzzy muffs, nowadays a lot of us shave. That includes me—I’m sure you notice in the pictures! Some people trim, some people are partially shaven and some like it clean-shaven. But do we really need pubes? Now that’s a great question. Some say it’s for protection back in the days when our ancestors were nomadic. Others say pubes create musk, hence they will smell immensely when we are in heat. But did you know that records say that the longest pubic hair in history was from a midwife back in the 19th century, which grew way below her knees and braided behind her back? Imagine that!
