Two of the most brilliant minds in political commentary met back in the early 2000s, and the result was an astoundingly intelligent public affairs show that demanded you to run your grey matter in overdrive mode. Katrina Legarda and Randy David were fearless, engaging, and had enough smarts to put many political figures cowering in a corner. Unfortunately, their late-night show isn’t exactly what you’d call an instant TV hit. Off The Record was off the channel in a little over a year, or faster than you can say “David and Gloriath.”

Porkchop Duo—as tasty as ever!
Renato “Porky” Gomez and Romeo “Choppy” Vargas, collectively known as The Porkchop Duo, have been stand-up comedians for more than 20 years now, but they remain as whimsical as ever, singing, mocking and teasing each other on stage, much to the chagrin of the crowd’s stomach muscles. This pioneering duo remains very much entertaining, with a brand of comedy that puts the spotlight on the common things we deal with everyday. Hmm, we wonder what their take on Swine flu is.
