Tunay na lalake is no more. Last Saturday, October 17, the macho men of TNL posted its farewell five-word entry.
Entitled, "Paalam, baby," it went on to say goodbye the shortest way possible: "It's not you. It's me."
The blog's shut down was not wholly unexpected. In the September issue of FHM, Palanca-award winning writer and TNL blog author Norman Wilwayco told us the end was inevitable.
"Hindi naman puwedeng forever ang TNL, saka wala na, na-strech ko na yung joke na yun. For three and a half months, wala akong ginawa kundi isipin yung susunod na ipo-post."
While techie calls it "a sad, sad day for the Filipino blogosphere," Wilwayco's announcement of his decision to end TNL came with a hint of something new. In the said interview, Wilwayco shares that "may niluluto kaming bago: In the House of Abraham, blog ni Abraham, yun yung pinakawasak sa lahat."
So, at least there's something new to look forward to.
