AFM Cine Club presents Brillante Mendoza
The Best Director of the 62nd Cannes Film Festival, Brillante Mendoza has made us proud.
And the French people are quite impressed with him too that the French Embassy and Alliance Francaise de Manille that they decided to screen his four best films: Tirador, Foster Child, Serbis and Kinatay.
It takes place at the Ondeo Auditorium which is located at Alliance Française de Manille, 209 Nicanor Garcia Street, Bel-Air II, Makati City. Screenings started last November 9, but you can still catch Kinatay, Brillante’s award-winning film, on November 14, 2009, at 2 PM. Admission is free.

While it was in the mid-90s that Alanis' Jagged Little Pill, conquered the world, it still surprisingly resonates today. That’s why we’re all excited for Route 196’s Alanis night on Saturday, November 14.
Nothing ironic here just pure goodness as Beng Calma of Drip, Top Junk, Paramita, Swissy, Mozzie, Tether and Kooky Tuazon pay tribute to Ms. Morissette. Route 196 is located along Katipunan Extension in Quezon City. Entrance is 150 pesos plus one free beer.
