Wowowee, the noontime variety show millions of Filipinos have loved and despised for half a decade, is no more. But that's not to say nobody saw it coming; the infamous noontime show has weaved in and out of controversy as though it were routine. It will go on-air for the last time on Friday, July 30.
Come Saturday, July 31, a new show called Pilipinas Win na Win will try to lord it over the noontime slot, with FHM cover boy Robin Padilla and Presidential sister Kris Aquino at the helm. FHM Babes Mariel Rodriguez and Valerie Concepcion, along with Pokwang join complete the stellar line-up of hosts, PEP.ph reports.
In line with this gloomy discovery, we pay tribute to the 10 beautiful girls who gave us a legit and sensible reason to catch and utter the word “Wowowee!” all these years.
