EMBASSY SUPER CLUB
Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
Party on:10PM to 6AM
Getting through the door: We hear Embassy's co-owner Tim Yap often lead press people in, so if you have a press ID and can bluff your way into making him believe your a lifestyle writer, do it. Otherwise, Embassy is definitely not for cheapskates. The door charges P400 on Wednesdays, which is inclusive of two drinks. Weekends charge a hundred pesos more.
Join the A-list: Work your way to becoming the socialites' buddies by doing guerilla poses who-the-hell-are-you style in most newspaper and magazine lifestyle pages.
You can Dance: Club hop from the main room's house music to the VIP room's hip-hop and RnB.
Booze and grub: San Mig Light P100, Sushi rolls are in demand in the Embassy cuisine.
PRINCE OF JAIPUR
Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
Party on: The club is open Wednesday, Friday, Saturday. 11PM-6AM
Getting through the door: The biggest mistake you can make is to go there looking like a Bollywood actor ready for a big production number, sweaty armpits and all. Despite it actually being an Indian restaurant, it has become one of the hottest hip-hop hubs in the metro, though not in the Dongalo sense of the word.
Join the A-list: Because it's solid hip-hop, who and what you, uhm, reprazent is key. It's like stepping into a real-life music video, starring dawgs with shaven heads wearing oversized teesand sporting shining goods, and ladies dancing on the platform in barely-there tops and micro-mini skirts.
You can Dance: Hip-hop rulez!
Booze and grub: San Mig Light P100; Rack of lamb; Kebab or gourmet shawarmas are also hot on the menu.
