The ber months are here. From this point forward, the nation’s merrymaking spirit is all set to snowball until it hits a Christmas-y climax in December. As you might expect, we are definitely looking to finish the year on a high note—in spite of the troubles that go by the name “Pork Barrel,” and the like.

And throughout the year, we found that nothing stirs us up than a good concert. This year, we’ve already seen a few—Deftones, The xx, Joss Stone at Malasimbo just to name some of them. But we’re aching for more.

Fortunately, the rest of the year is still filled with must-see acts. Below is our list of concerts that you (or your kid, or your dad, or your dad’s dad) might want to catch. Read up, clean your ears, and get ready to scream for these acts!

Pitbull

WHERE: Mall of Asia Arena
WHEN: September 4 2013
WHY: Because It’s your chance to dance to “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)” live!

George Benson with Patti Austin

WHERE: Smart Araneta Coliseum
WHEN: September 5, 2013
WHY: Because while they may be from your dad’s era, George Benson is still a ten-time Grammy award-winning Jazz and RnB performer. In short, he’s a talented, talented musician.

The Piano Guys

WHERE: SM Mall of Asia Center Stage
WHEN: September 7, 2013
WHY: Because this product of the YouTube era, who became famous after posting videos of their renditions of popular songs, is an inspiration to those who’d like to believe that there are other awesome things on YouTube other than cats.

KPop Republic

WHERE: Smart Araneta Coliseum
WHEN: September 7, 2013
WHY: Because while we’ll leave K-Pop as a matter of preference, what all men can agree about is that Korean girls are sexy. In the concert, one of the three main performers is girl group, Dal Shabet. We Googled them, and we haven’t stopped looking at their pictures since.

NEXT: Ready for Rihanna?
