The latest installment of popular Japanese RPG franchise Persona is about to get new content in the form of an anime adaptation.

Atlus announced on Twitter that the project titled Persona 5: The Animation is already in the works. Here’s a short teaser trailer featuring its characters:

A-1 Productions will be working on the Persona 5 anime, which will be made available on Japanese TV in 2018. There’s still no news whether it will be localized for Western fans, but there’s always a possibility based on previous projects.

Previously, a special 30-minute anime episode titled Persona 5 The Animation: The Day Breakers was aired before the game was officially released in Japan last year.

Persona 5 is mainly a role-playing game in a school setting that merges social simulation with classic dungeon and combat systems. Persona games are best known for having the perfect mix of these features without sacrificing elements that make it a unique game among other JRPGs.
