Electronic dance music is one of the most popular genres of music today.

EDM is an instant pick-me-up during a drab workday. Just put your earphones on, listen to DJs lay down the beats, and feel as if you’re being transported to a different dimension. It's no wonder that music festivals and rave parties, whether local local or international, are such a hit.

Neverland Manila 2016, one of the country's biggest EDM parties, just dropped their final lineup for their upcoming shows this December.

Take a look:

They'll be having two shows on two different nights, with nonstop music courtesy of 17 of the biggest names in EDM from all around the world.

To get you amped up before then, take a look at five of the hottest acts who will be performing. Get ready to party and don't forget to save up so you can score some tickets to see them live!

1) Martin Garrix

Dubbed as EDM’s youngest superstar, 20-year-old Martin Garrix sure knows how to entertain his audience.  He’s known for hits such as “In The Name Of Love,” “Animals,” “Tremor,” “Turn Up The Speakers,” and more. He has already visited the Philippines for several shows, all of which were sold-out.  He was also named as one of the Top 3 DJs of 2015 by DJ Mag

2) DJ Snake

Grammy-nominated French DJ and record producer DJ Snake is another artist you should definitely put on your list. In case you’ve been living under a rock, his hit “Turn Down For What” has been playing on the airwaves, at gigs and parties, and just about everywhere since he released it last 2013. Other songs he’s known for are “Lean On,” “Cold Water,” and his most-recent single “Let Me Love You” in collaboration with Justin Bieber. Craving for club vibes? Give in to DJ Snake’s bite.

3) W&W

Dutch electronic music duo Willem van Hanegem and Ward van der Harst have been in the scene since 2007. They have travelled the globe, performing in popular music fests such as Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival. The two became popular for fusing melodic elements of trance with the raw intensity of electro and progressiveness of house. If you need a boost of energy, their highly-energetic remixes will surely pump you up—and yeah, even put you on the path of a natural high.

4) Laidback Luke

Laidback Luke had songs from dance legends Green Velvet and Moodymann as his first projects. Now, he has chart crossover hits and remixes for the likes of Steve Aoki, Daft Punk, Mariah Carey, Robin Thicke, Madonna, and Nicki Minaj. He also has three albums under his belt, and hundreds of dance floor hits. If head-banging club tunes are your thing, you definitely should check him out.
