The Philippines has a massive addiction on talent searches. From Nora Aunor to Sarah Geronimo, many of the country's biggest stars arose from the ashes of the competition they laid waste to.

This year, the most talented individuals in the country get to face the best that the rest of Asia has to offer in the widest-reaching talent show in the continent, Asia's Got Talent. And if you've seen how we react during Ms. Universe competitions, you know we'll be going crazy once our brothers try to one-up the rest of Asia.

The Philippines will go up against 14 other countries in the show, including the eight Asian countries that have their own local Got Talent contests: China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Myanmar, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam. Six countries with no existing Got Talent shows will join for the first time: Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Taiwan.

As far as judging goes, we won't be enjoying any brotherly advantage as the panel includes no Pinoys. Instead, we'll have to go through 16-time Grammy-winning Canadian musician David Foster, former Spice Girl Mel C, Indonesian rock icon Anggun, and Taiwanese-American pop idol and actor Van Ness Wu (yep, that F4 guy).

Thankfully, the hosts will secretly be on our side as local celebs Marc Nelson and Rovilson Fernandez will perform ringmaster duties for the show's 10 weekly episodes. Of these, there will be five audition episodes, three semis, a finale, and a concluding episode. Catch Asia's Got Talent when it premieres on AXN on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at 8:05 p.m.

AGT promises to be the biggest talent competition our side of the world, featuring some of our region’s most incredible performing artists as they compete to take home the coveted title and prizes worth up to $100,000.

So, what kind of talented Pinoys do we need to send to come out on top? Below are five examples!
