Dreadful traffic and long lines everywhere, usual indicators of the start of the holiday season, are now essentially day-to-day experiences for us Filipinos.

Still, if there is one true sign that Christmas is coming, it would be holiday TV station IDs. These seasonal videos basically round up a channel's talent pool for a grand show of unity (and at times, some bouts of awkward dancing) for the holidays.

ABS-CBN and GMA recently unveiled their respective Christmas TV spots, and in an ironic twist of the holiday spirit, we've decided to pit them against each other to know which one is better.

Which love team shone the brightest? Whose host of FHM girls turned more heads (and which had more potential future Cover Girls)? Which actor still didn't know how to act even in a freakin' holiday TV ad? Where the hell is TV5's?

Plus, aside from just featuring the two Christmas IDs, we also listed down what we thought were the highlights (and lowlights) of each. We'll let you figure out which is which...

ABS-CBN CHRISTMAS STATION ID 2015: "THANK YOU FOR THE LOVE"

1. That news and public affairs segue to a singing KathNiel, LizQuen, and JaDine

2. Hands-down commendable immersion

3. Maja Salvador being able to grocery shop without being mobbed

4. Jericho Rosales and the "Garden Taxi" driver

5. Roving Noche Buena Table

6. Airdrop of supplies to Ayungin Shoal

7. Piolo Pascual suddenly reemerging before the video ends

8. Popoy and Basha!

9. Big boss Charo Santos' fitting, ala-MMK closing spiel

10. Its length

GMA CHRISTMAS STATION ID 2015: #MAGMAHALANTAYONGAYONGPASKO

2. Husband-and-wife Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera smooching in front of a kid

3. Eat Bulaga!'s Dabarkads' lechon bit, starring Ruby Rodriguez

4. Solenn Heussaff's armpits

5. Willie Revillame's "Bigyan ng jacket!" reference

6. That unsuspecting look on Baeby Baste's face

7. Kalye's Angels!

8. Disorganized dancing

9. The 3:11 mark

10. Before we forget, the doll exchange, which was the whole point of the video

So, who did it better, FHM Nation?
