If you're a single dude, and Christmas is on the horizon, sometimes it can get pretty cold, and lonely, and sad. So to make things less cold and lonely, and only kind of sad, check out what just landed on our laps: A Weekend With Ellen.
What is it? It’s the second installment to Jay Tablante’s series of gravure photobooks, which began with the country’s first ever, The Jinri Experience, starring our favorite Korean hottie, Jinri Park. A Weekend With Ellen stars FHM’s two-time covergirl, Internet darling, and Kapuso star, Ellen Adarna.
If you thought Ellen was damn near impossible to resist on our cover, well, after seeing her photobook, you will probably want to go over to her house and glue an “I LOVE YOU ELLEN” sign on your head. But don’t do that because it’s creepy and kind of illegal. While she was fierce on our pages, lording over wolf dogs, and with her rib tattoos in full exposure, the photobook reveals a more relaxed side of her.
A Weekend With Ellen is 100 pages of nothing but photos of Ellen in her most candid state, posing as though there’s no camera in front of her. Lensman Jay Tablante notes what makes a Japanese-inspired "gravure" shoot unique: "In regular shoots, you sort of know there's a crew working behind-the-scenes. In gravure, it's all just very natural, very minimal lighting, and production design."
In other words: effortless dapat. Like this...
Ellen is the epitome of effortless. Playful, and innocent, and totally unaware of how hot she is, the Ellen you see here is the girlfriend you've always imagined you'd spend an entire weekend with at some chill beach house you own in your dreams. Bahamas, Batangas, it doesn't matter, as long as you're with Ellen.
But we talk too much. Check out our exclusive preview below, and then try telling us that this isn't the best Christmas gift ever!
