Thursdays just got a whole lot weirder as a new show focused on things that make us go "WTF?" will be premiering on Discovery Channel this week, The Unexplained Files. Premiering on November 21, 9 p.m., this six-part series will pull the sheets off the world's oddest mysteries--strange abductions, mutated species, alien-like weather, unidentified fanged predators and flying objects amongst others.

Not only will the show reveal all these crazy mysteries by showing never-before-seen footage, and enthralling first-hand accounts of the events, the show will also be forming a squad of credible experts, scientists, and witnesses to try and come up with explanations for these strange things.

Not for the faint of heart, this show is. It's got some really grisly images.

But just how strange are these things that we're talking about? How weird can the world get? Here's an example: mutant dogs. In the first episode, the show deals with dogs that have been seen in Texas attacking and mutilating livestock and farm animals. What's so weird with that? They're just dogs, right? Apparently, not exactly. These dogs are bizarre, hairless, blue-skinned, blue-eyed and hunch-backed. Since 2005, the creatures have been caught on film and camera, and their bodies have been found. But the classification of these creatures is still very much a matter of great debate among experts, and what is worse: they may be breeding.

If it reads like the back of the DVD case of a B-movie creature feature, well, remember that reality can be stranger than fiction sometimes.

We mean just look at this costume fetishist above.

If that's not enough to whet your appetite, we have here a little rundown and a few videos of the creatures, the myths, and strange occurences that the show will be tackling. Note though that not all of the videos here are from the Discovery Channel show itself. Some are the works of other producers and networks.
