Netflix has released the first trailer of its new series titled Mindhunter, which focuses on the efforts of two FBI agents trying to solve cold cases with the help of some ultra-creepy serial killers.
Mindhunter will star Jonathan Groff (Looking, Glee), Holt McCallany (Jack Reacher, Heroes, Fight Club) and Anna Torv (Fringe).
Groff and McCallany will play agents of the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit, a pair trying to dig deeper into the minds of America’s most notorious psychos.
Director David Fincher is one of the creators behind the series and will driect a couple of episodes himself. He also helped mount Netflix’s House of Cards back in 2013, a hit show that has garnered critical acclaim for its take on the corrupt mchinations of Washington politics.
Mindhunter is scheduled to be released in October. In the meantime, go check out the chilling (but equally exciting) trailer below:
