Over two decades ago, ‘90s rap star Tupac Shakur was gunned down in Las Vegas and his death has been shrouded in mystery ever since.
But now, Marion “Suge” Knight, the former CEO of Death Row Records who was with Shakur that fateful night has broken his silence on the incident that’s long been considered a cold case.
According to the Daily Mail, Knight’s lawyer Thaddeus Culpepper wrote in a signed affidavit that his client told him a recent documentary revealed the truth about Shakur’s untimely death.
Knight was apparently referring to the documentary titled ‘Tupac Assassination: Battle for Compton’ that claimed he was the actual target of the shooting and not Shakur.
Reports also said that Knight has implicated his ex-wife and a former Death Row Records security chief as the people who were behind the shooting.
Knight is currently locked up due to murder and attempted murder charges after he ran over two men in Compton back in January 2015.
