Last Saturday evening marked the last time Gabby Alipe, Lalay Lim-Geronimo, JanJan Mendoza and John Dinopol officially performed as one unit. Yes, Pinoy rock fans. It pains us to announce that Urbandub has bid farewell last May 9 with their #ENDLESS concert at the Metrotent Convention Center, Metrowalk in Ortigas.

We share the plight of all you Dubistas, for no one could argue the effect of this band from Cebu to its followers, as well as to the industry. Their discography mirrored most, if not all, of our daily struggles, especially when it comes to matters of the heart.

And we admit: We here at FHM HQ are Urbandbub fans at heart. We grew up listening to their beat-heavy tunes with awesome riffs and tagos-sa-puso lyrics that made us think that Pinoy rock ain't dead and is actually alive and kicking.

In light of this and their farewell gig, we've listed, in no particular order, the top 10 Urbandub songs. Well, at least in our books.

"A CALL TO ARMS" (The Apparition, 2009)

"FRAILTY" (Embrace, 2005)

The song's message in one statement: It's hard to fight for a relationship everybody's lost hope with, even if you're the most optimistic dude in the world (kinda like that pick-up game your opponent leads by 20 with a minute and a half left, and you're the never-say-die type of player).
