Monday night was a special one for avid followers of hit TV series Ang Probinsyano, as the episode featured the wedding between protagonist Cardo (played by Coco Martin) and the love of his life (Yassi Pressman).
But just like any other fictional marriage ceremony, tragedy was bound to strike, and the action drama's main villain, Joaquin (Arjo Atayde), did the dirty work himself.
For those who were able to watch it last night, one might think that the crappy disguise of the antagonist and his bombing plot were the biggest failures of the episode. But netizens were quick to point out a scene where the other, much older villain, Don Emilio (Eddie Garcia), was talking to Joaquin via a mobile phone:
Seriously? Nobody from the editing team caught the obvious blooper or even bothered to review the final cut before airing it to the legions of fans watching?
While some made light of the embarrassing mistake, the prevalence of inexcusable screw-ups actually speaks volumes about the mediocrity of some local productions.
Take for instance this priceless confrontation sequence from Ika-6 na Utos, which was shown days before that Manoy boo-boo:
Maybe these TV networks need to pay their editors better.
Romantiko ka man o sawi, walang pinipiling manonood ang '100 Tula Para Kay Stella'
Where to go if you hate people
This is your chance to get high
Admit it, you're both attracted and terrified of these women
Or how to actually be healthy and keep it that way
