Miami Heat-lifer Dwyane Wade has never been a good three-point shooter, having made just 385 in his entire career at a 29-percent rate.

But longbomb no. 385 was certainly more important than most of his previous threes as it pushed Wade past Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen in the NBA's all-time scoring list. The moment happened yesterday at the Heat's 96-76 win against the Toronto Raptors: 

The shot pushed Wade past Pippen's 18,940 points, and now puts him on the 51st spot in the list. Wade finished the game with 12 points and a career total of 18,944. Currently averaging 18.9 points per game this season, the dynamic Heat star is on track to surpass player no. 50 on the scoring list, former Supersonic star Dale Ellis who has 19,004 points.
