Basketball never stops, indeed.
Fresh from the epic series that was the San Mig Coffee Mixers vs. Petron Blaze Boosters Governor's Cup finals, we're again about to witness another important hoops event in the PBA. On Sunday, November 3, a total of 85 aspirants will be given the chance to strut their b-ball skills in the big league.
The number of total aspirants easily tops last year's (the 2012 PBA Draft had less than 70) and, as always, there are a few names that stand out. We even think that this group could be one of the best ever. Yeah, we did say the same about last year's batch, which also turned out to be really impressive with the likes of Calvin Abueva and Junemar Fajardo. But the abundance of talent this group has is just too vast not to hype up.

Tradition dictates that we should do a mock draft, but we're more inclined to do things a little bit differently this time around. Instead of coming up with a cliché pre-draft top 10 list, we'll twist things a bit by giving you who we think will comprise next year's All-Rookie Team. Here's how we do it: We'll name the top two players at every position, that's 10 players overall!
With the brimming talent the 2013 batch has, pustahan mga pre, this team will give a good account of itself when ranged against legit PBA teams. Yes, they might lose, say, nine out of 10 games, but we're pretty sure they won't be blown out of the water.
So, are you ready to see our Pre-Draft All-Rookie team, fellas? For the First Five, hop to the next page!
