If we were to follow regular protocol, it's reasonable to assume that this Sunday's UFC 165 main event between Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson will end with Jones still reigning mighty and proud as the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion.
But dethrone season is upon us, and much like how things went down with pound-for-pound royalty Anderson Silva and Benson Henderson, the challengers seem to be having their way with the champions as of late. We guess what we're trying to say is Gustafsson is the kind of fighter who can pull off a Weidman, or a Pettis, for that matter.
The problem, however, is Jones is the kind of fighter who will never pull off an Anderson (cocky and careless), which brings us back to square one...
In this week's edition of FHM Mano A Mano, we calculate Gustafsson's chances against the most dominant light heavyweight in UFC history. Is he indeed the ultimate contrapelo to the Jon Jones phenomenon? Go to the next page to see what we think.
