Android 7.0 Nougat is out now and it's not only Google Pixel and Pixel XL that will get to experience this update. 

After the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update that all Android users seem to enjoy, the Nougat promises a better and smoother user experience for smartphones.

But which devices will be able to receive the update? Here is a list of the handsets that will be able to use the Android 7.0 Nougat. Is your smartphone part of the list? Check it out:

1. Samsung

It's obvious for some Samsung handsets to get the Nougat OS. As one of the leading smartphone makers, some Samsung devices, especially the newer ones, would need this update. Ths list includes: 

• Galaxy S7
• Galaxy S7 edge
• Galaxy Note 5
• Galaxy S6
• Galaxy S6 edge
• Galaxy S6 edge+

2. Sony

According to TechRadarthere are a few Sony phones that will get the update, but they won't get it during the same time. The list includes:

• Xperia X Performance - October
• Xperia XZ - October
• Xperia X - November
• Xperia X Compact - November
• Xperia Z5 - December
• Xperia Z3+ - December
• Xperia Z4 Tablet - December
• Xperia XA - early 2017
• Xperia Ultra - early 2017

3. Nexus

If Google Pixel and Pixel XL will get the Nougat, of course Nexus will get it, too. Here's a list of the Nexus phones which will be part of the update: 

• Nexus 6P
• Nexus 5X
• Nexus 9
• Nexus 6
• Nexus Player
• Pixel C
• General Mobile 4G (Android One)

4. LG

The company's new phablet, the LG V20, which  will be released on October 28 will also be graced with the Android Nougat 7.0. Here are other devices on the LG list that will get the new OS: 

• LG V20
• LG V10
• LG G5
• LG G3

5. HTC

HTC will also join in on the updates as their HTC Bolt will be the first HTC device toget the Nougat OS. Apart from the Bolt, here are other HTC devices which will receive the update as well:

• HTC 10
• HTC One M10
• HTC One M9
• HTC One A9

6. Motorola

Last on the list is the Motorola, simply because it has the most number of handsets that willbe upgrading to Nougat 7.0. 

• Moto G (4th Gen)
• Moto G Plus (4th Gen)
• Moto G Play (4th Gen)
• Moto X Pure Edition (3rd Gen)
• Moto X Style
• Moto X Play
• Moto X Force
• Moto Z
• Moto Z Droid
