Because Nokia's first Android-based phone, the X, is a special piece of gadgetry, the brand will be having a whole-day, fun-filled affair focused on the device that both geeks and non-geeks will enjoy!
You guys doing anything particularly cool this weekend?
If March 29 (Saturday) is still a vacant date on your calendar, we've got a nice suggestion for you! Nokia will be having a one-day, fun-filled affair called the X Races!
Now before you say "Next time na lang," hear us out first, fellas! The Nokia X Races event is a celebration which focuses on Nokia's X smartphone. For those who haven't heard, it's pretty special device as it is—the X is Nokia's first Android-based smartphone evah!
Back to the event, we did say it's a celebration, right? By that we mean it's gonna be filled with activities both geeks and non-geeks will love. We're talking about having a go kart race race track, wall climbing, and even an an inflatable obstacle course! Kids and the kids-at-heart (like us!) will surely have fun with those goodies.
Who knows? Maybe this pretty product model who reminds us of one of our Master Debaters will be there, too!
There will be Nokia X booths where you can play with the Nokia X, win cool prices, and even score nice phone deals. And for those who looking to just hangout with nice tunes, there will also be a concert featuring local band Rocksteddy to rock the socks off of event goers. We're also told there will be celebs in the event (although Nokia hasn't given us any names yet), so better polish your selfie-taking-with-the-stars skills.
Sounds good? We bet it really will be! Nokia X Races will be held at the SM By the Bay area (behind SM MOA) this Saturday, from three in the morning 'til ten in the evening. So, kitakits?
Note: Nokia X Races will be free admission and open to the public
