Allow us to take this off our chests: The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is now official! WOO-HOO!!!

You'll probably think we're as excited as bantay running after the mailman about this one. You're right. Yes. We. Are.

"Bakit naman?" you ask? Well, let's just say we have high hopes for this phablet, and we expect it to sell like condoms near motels. The main reason: Its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 3, was a gorgeous device that sold 10 freakin' million units in just two months last year. So we bet 4 will also be super mabenta.

But enough talk and predictions, here's the new Galaxy Note 4:

Gorgeous, right? But as beautiful as it is on the outside, the party's on the inside, with some of the best mobile hardware goodies and features known to man. Here are six of the best ones:

ONE-TWO PUNCH

As expected, the Galaxy Note 4 comes with either a quad- or octa-core chip (depending on the model and region), and the one it has is said to be speedier than what's found inside its predecessor. You'll also get 3GB of RAM which pretty much means bye-bye to your multi-tasking and mobile software usage woes (e.g. lags, slow-downs).

FULLER THAN FULL-HD

As if saying Full-HD is as old as that joke you tell everybody at parties, Samsung went ahead and slapped the Galaxy Note 4 with a QHD display. For the clueless, QHD means a resolution of 2560 x 1440, which is much higher than the 1920 x 1080p Full-HD provides. All those pixels are inside a large, 5.7-inch touchscreen that guarantees no-squint viewing.

SELFIE HAPPY

Boasting a 16-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and OIS (optical image stabilization), the Galaxy Note 4 will produce better on-the-go snaps compared to those taken with the Galaxy Note 3's 13-megapixel shooter. The secondary front-cam also had a pixel bump and is now at 3.7 megapixels (last year's version was at two megapixels) so rest assured your "just woke up" selfies will look better as well.

NEXT: Let's go wireless...and our price guesstimate!
