In Apple's keynote event on Wednesday at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, the public finally got a glimpse of the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

Some rumors were true, most notably the lack of a headphone jack. Not to worry, though, because both units will be shipped with a Lightning-to-3.5-millimeter-headphone-jack adapter.

It was also revealed that the iPhone7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be water resistant.

But wait, there's more:

-The iPhone 7 Plus will have a dual camera—wide-angle and telephoto lens—for a 2x optical zoom feature and depth-of-field photos
-It will come in Black (matte) and Jet Black, along with the standard Gold, Silver, and Rose Gold colors
-The new iPhones will come with a pair of wireless earpods called "AirPods"
-Apple has dropped the mechanical home button for a touch-sensitive one

The event started out with a clip of Apple CEO Tim Cook, James Corden, and Pharell singing to "Sweet Home Alabama" inside a car. It was sort of a promo because Carpool Karaoke will premiere on Apple Music early next year. Afterwards, the The Late Late Show host dropped Cook off at the event venue.

He went straight to the presentation, revealing that they will be phasing out the 16GB storage size. That means the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will have a minimum of 32GB memory.

The iPhone 7 will retail for $649 or P30,405, the same starting price as the iPhone 6, while one has to shell out $769 or P36,027 for the 32GB iPhone 7 Plus.

Here are its other features:

-An A10 fusion chip with four high-performing cores
-Two speakers
-25% extra brightness
-Retina HD display
-Two hours longer battery life
-12-megapixel rear camera and 7-megapixel front camera that can take photos in low light

Along with the iPhone 7, the company also introduced the new Apple Watch Series 2, which will also roll out on September 16. It's also water resistant and Pokémon GO compatible. The watch has a built-in GPS and a dual-core processor.

Apple also announced its partnership with Nike to launch the Apple Watch Nike+ which will be available on October. Both devices start at $369 or P17,269.

Another partnership the company made is with Nintendo. The company's CEO, Shigeru Miyamoto, made a surprise appearance to present Super Mario on iOS. Of course, it will be a paid game but there is no news yet as to how much. What's certain is that it will be released just in time for the holidays.
