APEC 2015 is already upon us, and so far it is not faring too well for some, particularly those who still have to brave through the metro gridlock.
And while the traffic situation was surprisingly light at certain areas the past few days (perhaps because of classes being suspended), the first APEC day (November 16) was an entirely different story, especially with the implementation of the now-infamous "VIP lane" intended for the international business meet's delegates.

As if EDSA wasn't already jammed enough, authorities just basically made things far worse by setting aside one lane for APEC guests, cramming daily motorists into the remaining ones. (Then what are those Mabuhay Lanes for?!)
It's carmageddon all over again. Or more appropriately, an APEC-alypse is now happening right in front of our very eyes. *Cue in The Walking Dead theme*
Episode 7 might've come a little too early.
It wasn't just the metro that was APEC-tado, as commuters coming from Cavite had to endure hours of walking from Coastal Road to Baclaran, and also along Roxas Boulevard, due to road closures.
This was definitely not the "Tuwid Na Daan" they were hoping for.
Our bros over at Top Gear Philippines decided to inject a little sarcasm humor into the situation to lighten things up.
