We can all agree that, except for the one-percent, money is ALWAYS a problem. It's not that we hate it (what crazy fellow does?). Rather, it's the fact that it always seems as if there's not enough of it to go around, thereby rendering many of our materialistic fantasies to "someday" status. You know why Travie McCoy's "Billionaire" became a big time hit? It's because many of us can relate to it!

But what if you're in a parallel universe where money is not an issue (or everything's free), what will you buy? The obvious choices are: hella big houses, hella fast cars, hella expensive bling, hella powerful gadgets. We hear you if you answered those but, man, where's the creativity?

Sure, we want the same goodies, too. But we'll also throw in a few items that many of you probably won't think of (or even know) but are still fly as heck. With that, gentlemen, we introduce you to FHM.com.ph's new, weekly will-make-you-drool-like-an-infant section: Cool Stuff We Want Right Now!

Scroll down to view our first crave list!

THIS TIME-TRAVELLIN' IPHONE CASE

Kids of the '80s and '90s will immediately know that it's the Delorean, that tire-burnin', time-travellin' ride from the Back To The Future movies. Okay, not exactly. It's actually an iPhone 6 case made by Bandai that's based on the sci-fi car. While it won't transport you back or forward in time, it does have cool external car wires that blink and light up in bright blue whenever someone's trying to holler at you. It's now available for around $50 (about P2,200). Flux Capacitor, not included.

THIS KICK-ASS HELMET FOR
HALO FANBOYS

Want to ride your big bike in true gamer style? Then wear the Halo Spartan Armor motorcycle helmet and feel like the iconic Master Chief while zipping along the mean streets of Manila! Made with durable metal and plastic, it perfectly mimics the headgear worn by the Halo series' main protagonist. The best news: It's street-legal according to the US' Department of Transportation! Too bad it's not yet available, but we're willing to wait.

THIS GIANT
TRANSFORMERS TOY

We've already told you about this behemoth of a toy, but we feel it's just too awesome to not include here. At two-feet tall, this Devastator toy will dwarf your other toy robots and make them its puny servants. Okay, maybe not, but it will help save your man cave from looking dull and boring for $150 (about P6,600). Availability is set later this year (around September to November).

THESE NEW ANDROIDS FROM LOCAL BRANDS

cool stuff we want

That's the Cherry Mobile One (left) and MyPhone Uno, two phones that cost less than P5,000. We know you're surprised they're on this list, but hear us out first. The two are the first Android One smartphones to hit Pinas. "WTH is Android One?" you ask? In a nutshell, it's the purest form of Android (read: it has minimal to no bloatware and software modifications), which ensures that the platform will run smoothly even on cheaper smartphones.

Having said that, the One (P3,999) and Uno (P4,599) aren't exactly weaklings in terms of specs as both have quad-core CPUs and 1GB of RAM. That should make them more than novelty items.

THIS IPHONE CASE FOR
BATMAN FANS

From the makers of the Delorean iPhone case come another handset protector that made us throw money at our screens. Gents, that's the Batmobile iPhone 6 case, another creative and downright cool creation from Bandai. Showcased as a miniature and near-perfect replica of the Dark Knight's crime-fighting steed, it has glowing lights that signal you if there's an incoming call. All that for around $50 (around P2,200).

THIS LIGHTSABER SET

Because everyone wants to be a Jedi, here's Hasbro's Jedi Master lightsaber set that puts you a step closer to living your Star Wars dreams. It comes with a lightsaber with lights and electronic sounds, a pair of lightdaggers, an expansion hilt, and several connectors that let you customize your own lightsaber. The whole set will be available later this year for $50 (around P2,200). No Jedi training required.

THIS PINK EARPHONES SET FOR YOUR LADYLOVE

We'll set aside our selfish tendencies for a bit and focus on that one person we don't ever want to hurt, fight, or mess around with: the S.O. If you want to please her or score pogi points, then gift her with the Mi In-Ear Headphones Crystal Pink Edition. Trust us; she'll love its pink facade, Swarovski crystals, and overall elegant look. It's a bit pricey for an earphones set at P1,699, but keep in mind that it's easier to deal with a thin wallet than an unsatisfied lover.

Wait, you're #ForeverAlone? Doesn't matter; this one's legit courtship-enhancing material, too!

THIS SCI-FI FLOATATION DEVICE

Inspired by the iconic captain's chair Captain Kirk sat on while commanding the USS Enterprise, this inflatable pool float gives you true Star Trek swag while lazily lounging in the pool. Just make sure it's away from any sharp objects or that will be $50 (around P2,200) down the drain.

THIS "EDGY" PHONE

With a 5.6-inch touchscreen that "spills over" its right side, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is definitely not just any smartphone. The added display real-estate is for easy access to certain features as well as for instantly seeing notifications. The asking price for this unique piece of mobile gadgetry? P43,990.

Before you hide your wallets, know also that the Galaxy Note Edge has a host of other top-tier hardware such as 3GB of RAM, a quad-core processor, 4G, a 16-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, and a 2560x1440 display. That's higher than Full-HD, geeks!

THIS DARTH VADER CAR

Because we are (and always will be) suckers for anything Star Wars-related, here's a remote control Corvette based on the sci-fi classic's main kontrabida, Darth Vader. At about a foot-and-a-half long, it's bigger than most RC toys while its rechargeable battery means you don't have to pollute the environment with wasted batteries. Mother Nature approves!

As for availability, it will hit the US later this year for a still undisclosed price.
