For those who aren't totally familiar with American Football, we'll have you know that the new National Football League (NFL) season has already begun. Along with it comes a series of juicy football storylines inside and outside the field.
There's Geno Smith landing the New York Jets' starting quarterback job over the popular Mark Sanchez. There's Peyton Manning's heroic seven-touchdown performance for the Denver Broncos against the San Diego Chargers last weekend. There's Washington Redskins' sophomore QB Robert Griffin III, whose horrific injury last season had analysts wondering whether he will ever return to Pro Bowl form. Those and a slew of other stuff dominate the NFL news feed.
Unfortunately, these football bits may not sound appealing to the Pinoy everyman. American Football has yet to pique our interest the way MMA or European football has in recent years. In that regard, just imagine the dismay of the very small percentage of our population who watches the NFL. They're in pain, we're telling you.
In this edition of FHM De-Frankensteinizer, we examine the lonely NFL fanboy: the way he dresses, the stuff he orders online, and why he's always disgruntled with you bball-loving peeps, among other things. Read on!
