A bunch of the world's deadliest arachnids have scared the shit out a family recently, The Sun reported.

Ironically, dozens of the Brazilian wandering spider—known to its victim by giving it a four-hour erection—were found breeding in a pile of bananas.

To give you an image of the utter hell that the household went through, meet the creepy culprit:

"It was like something out of a horror movie," explained Ashley Gamble, the forklift truck driver who discovered a cocoon that bursted with the spiders while unloading shopping bags with his wife.

"The nest was around the size of a 20p piece, and they were just falling out of it onto the floor. I grabbed the hoover and tried to suck up as many as I could, but they were running off everywhere."

Right away, he rushed and evacuated with his family to the neigbor's house and immediately had the house fumigated.

Apparently, the fruit came from a local Asda supermarket, which Gamble said brushed off their initial complaint.

"When I first went in to complain my house was full of spiders they offered me a refund for the bananas, which only added insult to injury," he shared. "Then a worker said, 'Oh it's ok—they'll all die soon anyway."

Asda has since apologized, adding that such cases are "extremely rare." "We are sorry for any upset this has caused and are keeping Mr. Gamble updated throughout our investigation."

Meanwhile, Gamble and his kin still haven't return to their house, especially if it meant "(risking) it with the children."

If you're quite keen on the idea of a four-hour erection, bear in mind that the Brazilian wandering spider kills its victims afterwards.
