During his speech in front of members of the Philippine Army on Monday, the president said it is just a matter of time before the catalog gets finalized, the Inquirer reported.
"You rich people, pay your taxes. I will be announcing formally because I would like to have the list completed," he said.
Duterte will directly send law enforcers to those implicated who will fail to comply. "All you rich millionaires in the Philippines. Pay your taxes or I'll invite you for questioning," he warned.
"You're cheating [the] government. You are destroying the Filipino people. It won't happen during my watch."
Meanwhile, the Manila Bulletin noted Duterte as saying that the government's interest should be prioritized above all.
"Follow the law, follow the rules and do not cause agony to your fellowmen," the president was quoted as saying.
Duterte initially released a list of suspected drug lords, followed by their alleged protectors from the judiciary, armed services, and local government units.
